David has over 30 years' experience in the banking and finance sector in areas such as corporate recovery and turnaround management, branch, area and regional management, and general management. He has also spent six years in property development specialising in retirement villages and motels and has managed operations and finance for a group of six retirement villages.

David is also Managing Director of Quarry Capital Ltd. Since 2012 he has managed a portfolio of syndicated commercial properties with an asset value in excess of $200m. Over time the properties have been sold and he now oversees a $100m portfolio of commercial and industrial properties comprising five syndicates with properties throughout New Zealand and over 200 investors. David is also a Director of 2K Consulting Ltd, Chartered Accountants.

His varied background and natural approach as an advisor put him in good stead in an ever-changing investment environment. David is also a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).
